Graffiti Inspired Senior Portraits | West Palm Beach FL photographer

It all started with a glimpse at an amazing wall of art.  From this, an idea was born... a huge idea!  After months and months of planning for this graffiti inspired senior portrait photo shoot it finally came together on a hot and muggy summer day.

We started off at the salon where the salon staff worked their magic on hair and makeup for the first elegant look.  Then, Jessica came with us on-location in West Palm Beach to create this second, more edgy look.  I just love how their hair and makeup turned out!

The crew all wore black and white for their basic pieces.  Pops of color were added primarily through accessories and shoes.  Everyone coordinated well by using the black and white to tie it all together.

Senior pictures that are fresh, captivating, and fashion-inspired is my style.  Finding unique and interesting locations help to make each senior's pictures distinctive and special.  A senior portrait experience with me is unparalleled and epic!  

This is one of my favorite images from our group shoot.  Honestly, I love all of the pictures!  It's probably because I adore each and every one of these high school seniors!  They are an amazing group of young people!

Senior Portrait Fashion Show Swag Event | Stuart FL photographer

It seems like just yesterday I was running around trying to get last minute details all worked out for my senior portrait fashion show swag event.  I can't believe that was three weeks ago!  We had so much fun that night and my class of 2015 elite model team did such a great job modeling the clothing, hair, and makeup for us!

The outfits for the models were provided by Francesca's Collection from the Jensen Beach Mall. The girls and I had so much fun trying on the outfits and accessorizing with the help of the lovely young ladies who work at the store.  As a photographer in Stuart, FL I am very fortunate to have a plethora of stores and options when it comes to special events.  However, Francesca's always goes over and beyond in helping me put my events together.

Not only do they help me with events, but the store manager, Joyce, is my go to stylist for senior portrait fashion.  I always encourage my clients to go to Francesca's to be styled for their senior portrait experience with me.  Joyce does an amazing job pulling current, stylish outfits together.

I must share some more of the fun that we had.  Here you will find an array of pictures from my senior swag event.  I truly had so much fun that evening.  I met wonderful students, some seniors and some juniors.  I loved all of the outfits the models wore.  Everyone was just amazing!

Senior Pictures What to Wear Tips | Stuart Portrait Photographer

They're your favorite pair of jeans and you want to wear them for your senior pictures.  However, they've become a little tattered and worn.  Never fear, it's the fashion... dare I say senior portrait fashion, to wear ripped jeans.  It's part of the street style look.

If you are looking for tips on what to wear for your senior pictures, this is one that you can have fun with.  Who doesn't love a good comfy pair of jeans?  Senior portrait style should reflect who you are at this incredible and singular time in your life.  If ripped jeans and street style speak to you then that is the what you should wear in your pictures.

This street style trend can take on so many looks.  Whether you're a fashion forward senior who loves lace and a little more refined look, pair the jeans with a lace tip and a blazer or jacket.  Or, put some lace on the inside of the ripped area so it shows through the gaps.

Senior Pictures Sneak Peek | Stuart Portrait Photographer

The heat radiated through the shade, yet we were able to capture some amazing pictures of Bella during her Amy Tara Photography senior portrait experience. 

Managing to look fresh throughout the entire photo shoot during the heat of the summer here in Florida can be quite a challenge.  At times it almost feels as if a you would melt, truly melt.  But, Bella pulled off each of her looks flawlessly.

Senior Photos with Emily | Portrait Photographer in Stuart FL

Emily was such a natural in front of the camera.  Her senior portrait session went off flawlessly.  The sun was shining, it wasn't overly windy, and everything was so green and fresh.  Even the air seemed to smell like sunshine.

 For her senior pictures first outfit, she wore the loveliest lace pink dress. It was such a great color on her and was perfect for the backdrop of all the greenery.  The contrasting colors enhanced the whole look and really made her pop off the page, so to speak.

Every senior portrait session is special to me.  Each of the seniors I photograph becomes a friend.  I pour my heart and soul into their senior portrait experience because I really want each senior to know how truly magical they are at this time in their lives.

Emily was, is, no exception.  She is so intelligent, and kind, and beautiful, and... well, I could go on and on.  Most of all, she is genuine!  That is such an important quality and so rarely found today.

I have so many incredible images from her senior photo shoot that I decided to do several posts, by outfit.  Here are some of her gorgeous senior pictures in her pink lace dress.  I have a crush on the dress....  seriously!  And the incredible senior wearing it is pretty crush-worthy herself!!
