Smart & Friendly Erika | Senior Portraits Photography in Stuart

Amy Tara Photography, premier senior portrait photographer, works with high school seniors to create unique and distinctive senior portraits.  As senior portrait photographers we believe that each senior deserves an experience that is epic and unparalleled.  We offer a fresh and modern approach to senior portrait photography.   Go beyond the "yearbook guy" senior photo, and experience something tailored to who your senior is right now.  Senior year and graduation are huge milestones.  Celebrate with incredible, heirloom images you will cherish for years to come.

Erika Grimes is one of our class of 2014 seniors.  She is an amazing young woman.  Seriously, we have a crush on her!  She truly embodies beauty and brains.  She radiates a warmth and kindness with everyone she meets.  She's got a plan for college and life, and I know she will achieve her dreams.  She tutors students in math.  Yup, she's a brainiac!  She is a cheerleader at South Fork High School and is part of the dual enrollment program with Indian River State College.  So not only is Erika involved in her high school, but she is earning college credits as well.  That's determination!  We are so proud of Erika!  Here are a few of the images from our super fun senior portrait photo shoot with Erika.

Stuart FL Photographer | Senior Photo

As a photographer, capturing images for a wedding, a glamour image, or a senior photo in Florida is especially rewarding in that I can photograph outside throughout the year.  I am always looking for new locations and wardrobe ideas for my clients.  As I was creating this week's Wardrobe Wednesday installment, I started randomly picking items I found on Pinterest (I'm an addict!) and what I found was that this warm orange-red kept popping up in what I was attracted to.  This color would be so wonderful in many locations around our beautiful area.  The pop of color could be just the right thing to create your perfect look.  All images in this wardrobe board were found on Pinterest.
Perhaps you'll find a little inspiration from the eye catching color pop in these outfits.  Some of my favorite stores for wardrobe selections are Hazel & Olive, Ruche, Old Navy, and Forever 21.  And if you need assistance with figuring out your sizing for ordering online, check out this GUIDE.
Thanks for stopping by today!  Make it a GREAT one!

Wardrobe Wednesday | Stuart Florida Senior Portrait Photography

I don't know about you, but I just LOVE turquoise!  It's everywhere!  Especially here in South Florida.  We live by the ocean so why not celebrate one of the most beautiful colors inspired by it.  Whether it's a lace skirt, cool boots, statement necklace, or any other myriad clothing items, turquoise is a GREAT look!  Check out some of these ideas:
You can find awesome turquoise clothing items at many stores.  Some of my favorites are:  Forever 21, Ruche, American Eagle Outfitters, Hollister, Old Navy, and so many additional stores.
Where is your favorite place to shop?

Wardrobe Wednesday | Stuart Florida Senior Portrait Photographer

Another addition of Wardrobe Wednesday - presenting the all important, soft and beautiful Pastels.  Clothing images from H&M,  Don't you just love the soft and fresh color palette.  It's decidedly feminine, too.  I'm particularly fond of the mint green.  I'm seeing it everywhere!  Mint green goes with so many things.  LOVE!

High School Senior Portrait Photography | Jupiter FL

One of the comments I receive most frequently from my senior high school clients is how much they LOVE getting their professional airbrush make-up done with Jessica Casino of Besos Salon.  These young ladies feel pampered and really enjoy this aspect of their senior portrait experience with me.  It adds to their enjoyment of the whole process.  Professional make-up application is important for so many reasons, especially bringing to life, for the camera, highlights and best features of each persons face!  The camera reads things a little differently than the naked eye so it's important to make sure you don't look washed out on camera and that you have no shine.  Most girls don't realize how important it is to have that even matte finish on the face.  Jessica is a pro at contouring and bringing out all of their best features.   Jessica is very attuned to the most current styles and hip looks, so she can create what the girls are looking for, whether it's soft and feminine, urban, glamour, etc.  You name it, Jessica can give you just the right look.  Many times the girls will search through magazines and online for ideas for their make-up and hair.  They bring their ideas, and, in consultation with their make-up artist, create a very special look that is totally that senior girl!  This is such a special time in their lives and they are making the most of it.
Here are a few before, during and after photos from McKenzie's senior session with Jessica and me.

And, of course, a favorite part of the make-up is the ...., yes, you've got it.... the eyelashes!  Oh my gosh.... the girls go crazy for the falsies.  So cute, I tell ya!
