Beautiful Blue-eyed High School Senior Pictures | Stuart FL Portrait Photographer

I had the distinct honor of photographing gorgeous senior high school class of 2014 student Tavia.  Look at those eyes!!!  She totally rocked out her senior pictures with awesome outfits and killer eyes.  She is as sweet as her senior pictures look, too!  As always, with the Amy Tara Photography senior portrait experience, we went to so many unique and fun locations for her senior photos, which resulted in a wide variety of looks for her to choose from for her prints and products.   I just adored working with her to create a fresh, captivating, and distinctive senior portrait experience.  Whether the pictures were taken at the beach or the railroad tracks or in the middle of a muddy field, we had a blast!  Take a peek at some of the gorgeous images we captured for Tavia's senior portrait pictures.

Fashion Trends in Senior Pictures | Wardrobe Wednesday | Jupiter Portrait Photographer

High Low dresses and skirts are all the rage in senior portrait fashion this year.  I don't think I have had a senior pictures session this season without at least one outfit with a high low garment.  They are so feminine and look great on so many different figures.  High school seniors can achieve a variety of looks with a high low dress or skirt.  Floral patterns can add to a super feminine and romantic or soft feel while bold stripes and chevron patterns can certainly give an edgier look to senior pictures.  Dress them up with high heels, jewelry, and accessories, or dress them down with a denim jacket or sandals.  I found some high low dresses on Pinterest that I thought would look great in senior photos.  Take a look:

Senior Pictures Makeup | Before & After | Jupiter Portrait Photographer

For an awesome senior portrait experience, professional makeup application is a must.  When considering your high school senior pictures, having your makeup professionally applied will help to enhance your look and keep you looking your best throughout the photo session.  When your eyes are properly enhanced they really pop off the image making your senior photos outstanding.  One of the questions I get most, from moms, is will the makeup make my daughter look too old or _________(I'm sure you can fill in the blank).  The truth of it is, with the lens and camera equipment that the image goes through, having makeup stronger than you would normally wear looks absolutely perfect in camera.  The lens washes out the subject so it is important to go a little stronger to ensure a perfect look in the final product.  Airbrush makeup is especially beneficial in that it is a very light coating with incredibly even and flattering finish, and it lasts a LONG time!

Surfer Girl Senior Portraits | Jensen Beach High School | Stuart FL Portrait Photographer

I had the distinct pleasure of photographing Kaitlyn for her senior portrait pictures.  This Jensen Beach High School class of 2014 beauty is a true Florida girl... surfboard and all!  We hit the waves before sunrise at Bathtub Beach in Stuart, FL for some super fun and colorful senior portraits.  Creating a special, unique, and customized senior portrait experience is what we're all about, including capturing photos of our seniors in the wee hours of the morning.  After our surfing photos, it was on to the salon for Kaitlyn's professional airbrush makeup and hair styling with Jessica.  We spent the rest of the afternoon shooting her senior pictures around downtown and along the docks of the St. Lucie River.  We had so much fun with this high school senior!  Check out some of the gorgeousness we captured that day.
