Sarah's Senior Pictures | Stuart Photographer

Ballet or beach?  Grassy field or rich green foliage?  What will it be for your senior pictures?

Several weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Grove City High School senior, Sarah, for her senior portrait experience.  I am humbled and honored that she came all the way from Ohio for me to capture this special time in her life... of course, she wanted beach photos.  And so, we did that, too!

Although we were faced with a dreary, rainy day, we managed to dodge the raindrops and find some lovely light peeking through those monstrous rain clouds.  I think we even had a glimmer of sun at one point.  That said, we definitely felt the humidity.  We were dripping by the end of her senior portrait session!

Along the way Sarah donned her ballet outfit complete with black tutu, point shoes, and hat.  She looked so cute!  I loved watching her demonstrate her ballet moves.  We even dodged the traffic so we could make use of the colorful yellow lines in the street.  She danced among them and they truly frame her in.

Along the way to the beach we noticed a little pocket of light in a lovely green foliage area.  We popped out for a few quick pictures while she was still in her gorgeous orange dress.  Seriously, this girl has style and I personally LOVED this outfit.  Okay, well, I loved ALL of the outfits she picked for her senior pictures, but this orange dress was possibly my favorite!

Luckily, by the time we got to the beach in Hobe Sound, we found that the light was so perfect, with soft glorious colors intermingled with the clouds.  Her stunning outfit with orange striped shorts, crisp white button down shirt, and orange and gold statement necklace provided the perfect pop for the beach.

The lifeguards were off duty so we were able to make use of the lifeguard stand in Sarah's senior pictures, too.  Of course, we were very conscientious of the beach grass and protected areas.
